Did you ever start an exercise program and then give it
up after a while because you got bored with it?

Hasn't everybody? ;-)
I took a water aerobics course for a while, and enjoyed it. However, it
isn't year round. Then they started having it at 8 AM, which is before I
get up. :-(

If mornings are so important wouldn't God have put them later in the
day?

LOL! I like that. I think I'll steal it too.

I bought a treadmill once. Used it for hanging clothes.
I did join a YMCA once and went swimming every day for
about a year......

Swimming is really different though, isn't it? It's exercise, sure, but
it's also wonderful fun.
I really wish I could afford someplace to swim.

I go to tai chi every Monday and I tried a yoga class once. Didn't
care for it. The last part was lying on the floor resting which was
nice until it came time to get up. I have difficulty getting down to
and then up off the floor. LOL

Stan and I go to water aerobics twice a week and try to swim the other three

We belonged to a fitness center and then discovered that the college pool,
less than a mile away is free! DUH!
So we gave up our membership at the fitness center and now enjoy the college

No such luck here. There are free city park district pools, but they are
invariably filled to overflowing with small children, and it's simply
impossible to swim laps. The kids sure do have fun, though.

I used to have trouble with that, until I realized that it was easy if
you don't want to look graceful. Just do it like a toddler does. :-)
Norma...

That's exactly how I do it but it was easier then, I think. LOL

And much more graceful!

I'd like to give tai chi a shot. I too have difficulty getting up & down
from the floor & you're right Norma, the relaxation exercise at the end was
the best! Currently I do Curve's 2-3 times a week..
