david...
ok, it hasn't started yet, but they did the national anthems of both
countries...
Italy 1,
U.S. 0 :)

The italian anthem was very moving... and now, the game begins....

david...
i am beginning to thing that soccer/football will be on our TV more in the
future. Dalin has just observed how handsome all the players are.... :)

Shirley...
And then they get all sweaty and their clothes stick to those
muscles...sigh..

**Dalin**...
But they run nonstop for 90 min. Think of their terrific physical
condition!

Shirley...
I noticed that the Italians did rest once and awhile by falling down and
being taken off the playing field in a stretcher. ... ;o}

**Dalin**...

Stan...
Another reason to agree with you is because women say "they can see the
ball". Not always seeing the ball makes it hard for some women to watch
American football. The success of American soccer is in the hands of
American "Soccer Moms" of whom there are quite a few.

Stan( GO USA!)

Sue...
Yuppers. In american football, I am always watching the guy who has
absolutly nothing tucked under his arm. LOL

**Dalin**...
I love American football. But the U.S. did ok for itself today, tied
Italy. I think it was expected Italy would walk all over us. Sure
was frustrating to see the missed goals we had though and the Red
Cards.

Dalin
hey, no fair, shirley and dalin!!!! if the men closest to your lives were
to get close to you while dirty, sweaty, with damp clothing, and a definite
earthy odor... you'd complain and tell us to take a shower and change
clothes... t'aint fair.... :)

Shirley...
There is a big difference between earthy and pipe dope (is that how you
spell it?) and sweat.... ;o}
I sure didn't know soccer was such a violent game. There were more
injuries than there are in a football game!

Joy...
That's probably because American football players wear the padding and
helmets that soccer fans sneer at.
