Back to Calif.

Had a nice flight down from Reno.. not HOT as I feared..Overcast this
a.m. but sunny and nice out there now.
Sunday, I think it was, I either broke a rib or pulled a muscle.. at
right lower rib cage.. it only hurt when I reached out and up with
that arm. Otherwise no problem. Well as I was getting luggage out of
trunk of car .Whammo, it hit again.. now it is sore.. I could only
sleep on one side last nite.. I managed but I was not the most
comfortable sleeper around. Nurse daughter keeps offering me heat or
ice, not knowing just what is wrong, no idea which would be helpful.?
I am in charge of kitchen demolition today.. they are getting a whole
new kitchen and a man is here removing everything. Noisy.. I am
upstairs with the dog so he wont get frantic. Luckily it is not one of
those hot hot days. Menfolk are all off on a back packing trip and my
Daughter had to go in to work for awhile today.
We did have a nice dinner out last evening. Lovely new shopping mall
here that we visited.
What'd I buy??? A Brighton necklace with a charm holder and a pretty
ruby charm. They had a deal on ,if you took in an old purse you got
$50.00 off on a new one.. So Janeen did that..
So far so good, except for my rib cage.? Happy Day, all. Bette

How do you feel today Bette? If it's not any better maybe you should
see a doctor.

How did you get so lucky as to deal with someone esle's
kitchen remodeling? I assume that's less difficult that
dealing with such a thing on one's home turf. I do hope your
chest feels better soon.

Ouch! sorry you are hurting. My friendly neighborhood doctor once
told me to use heat or ice, whichever felt better.
Doc Norton really was a neighbor and a friend.
He treated my back for years, took care of the kids and their ailments
and removed a fishhook or two. The only problem was he kept the
lures in lieu of payment. LOL

Better have that looked at, Bets. Have a wonderful time but when you get a
moment please e-mail. Something you said in the last one before you left
kind of left me hanging as to the outcome.
