Sue...
My printer is almost out of ink, both black and color.
It is almost $60 to replace both the cartridges.
The printer is $28 brand new with both cartridges.
Is this dumb or not?

Bigbazza...
Extremely so...Sue !.. It doesn't sound right to me ..

Jane...
Very.

But I have noticed that the replacement cartridges have already lasted way
longer than the ones that came with my printer, so I can't help suspecting
that the originals are not really full size.

Chakolate...
I see someone else has mentioned that the cartridges are not full, and
that you should try generic kinds. You might also check your cartridge
to see if it's refillable. I refill mine, and it costs pennies to refill
the black ink cartridge.

I think the kit cost $20.

Jean B....
What kind of printer is $28? I sometimes wonder the same
thing, but then worry that I'd not be able to get it set up so
I could print. (If one gets the same kind, can one just use

Sue...
(the one I have now)

the old settings?)

NHunkele...
Don't just sit there. Buy a new printer.

Sue...
I guess that it what I will do. I thought of filling the things myself,
but I remember somebody here saying what a mess it is.

Jean B....
Wow, those are both really cheap. Now, if *I* were to get a
new one, I'd get the same kind as I had, on the theory that I
would not have to change the settings. (I am a computer klutz.)
