Jean B....
Of course, there's no reason why the pic I had in my mind's
eye would be the least bit accurate!

I had the same problem when I met HomemakerJ in person for the first
time. I had pictured her as tall and willowy and instead she was tiny
and pixie-ish.
I took the liberty of using Picasa on Lin's picture of Shadow's class,
and now you can see Shadow straining at the leash to go. I'd like to
post it to the blog, but I don't know the address. Help!

david...
well, uh... there's a HELP link on the blog fur thet sorta' stuff.... it's
useful fur when folks furgit how ta' do it... :) but since i knows ya',
the address iz altfiftyplus at blog.tripod.com

My mother always said we found stuff better with our mouths open: 'Hey,
mom, where's my... nevermind, I found it.'

Right after I posted it I found the address. Then when I went to the
blog, I found the link to tell me how to post. So, all in all,

'Nevermind, I found it.'

Sue...
Dunno, david. I was accused of breaking the blog (whoopie! Sounds like the
name of a gameshow) So I posted another picture. It still has not arrived.

I think that was be the case most of the time. I was rather
surprised that one person looked like I had envisioned.
Mine hasn't, either.

david...
well, it's been slow lately. norma's post took almost over a day, I think,
to post. and then sometimes the late post gets posted twice... :) I've
found a much better blog technology, but it doesn't allow photos... and
I've found a second good technology, but it has no security.... so, the
tripod blog is still our best bet... and if they ever fix the security
problems I've logged to them, it might run faster...

Chakolate...
Have you checked out Frappr? I created a Frappr group for
alt.support.menopause. They let you post photos, and the administrator
(whoever sets up the group) can delete as needed.

The thing I liked about it was that 'Frappr' is a contraction of 'friend
mapper' and there's a map each member of the group can push a locator pin
into.

want to take a look. Photos are halfway down the page.

patience, patience... :)
