I connected today and I don't know what I'm doing. This header says
aol and I'm on Internet Explorer through Verizon...I think. I sent
myself mail from AOL and when I open stuff it says there isn't any
mail. Guess I'll have to get my son over here again to show me how to
play this new game.

Norma, I took the plunge about a month ago and left aol after 12 years.
It takes some getting used to. Good luck.

I'm not diving right in. I'm keeping aol until I know what I'm doing.
Did you have any trouble cancelling aol?

I'm bit plunging right in. I still have aol until I know what I'm
doing here. Did you have any trouble cancelling aol?

No trouble at all...but make sure you know your billing cycle and cancel
it before the beginning of it so you don't have to pay another month.

ah, the beauty of multiple companies... :) very likely that your AOL is
subcontracting with Verison for cable/DSL connectivity... dalin and i are
earthlink customers, yet cable support is from Road runner... earthlink
has wisely kept all tech support questions coming to them so that they can
ferret out any cable issues and then they deal with road runner - not us...
very likely, all is working fine, once you figure it all out... LOLOL
