Has anyone heard the radio ads getting wide air play in the U.S.,
mainly on Clear Channel radio stations. They claim to be from a
company called "Ancestry" (note- they do mention or use
"ancestry.com"!), and promise to find anyone's family history if they
just call in to their 800 number.
They promise a "free history of your family name" for just calling.
Of course this is a blatant attempt to part fools and simpletons from
their money. But I'm curious, and was wondering if anyone can shed
any light on this?
Another good reason to use "do not allow text copying" coding on your
research web sites!
