These are my Jung relatives of German ancestry in the
1901, and 1906 Cdn census. All were born in Tavistock,
Ontario except for the father Otto who was born in
Germany. I believe the son Fred may be my grandfather.
I was always under the impression he came to Canada
from Albersweiler, Germany. If the Fred Jung in the
census is him, then obviously not. My Fred Jung was
born about the same time as this one, 1898.

I signed up for a German language class at the local
community college. It wasn't very expensive at all
and I took a family tree glossary with me and the
teacher was glad to translate all the words for me
and add some new ones (slang). *smile*

As someone has already mentioned you should also look at Young in Canada. It
was not uncommon for immigrants to you the English for of the name.
