Delosic...
I am researching the Dolosic family. I know that in the early part of
the 20th century four brothers and two sisters came from Croatia to
this country.

I think I have found three brothers and one sister. All arrived
through Ellis Island. They are:

Anton Dolusic
Arrival - Jan 02 1910
Depart. - Fiume
Destination - To Joliet, IL to brother, Andrew's house

Andro Dolosic
Arrival - Sep 17 1904
Depart. - Havre
Destination - Looks like Memphis, TN

Toma Dolusic
Arrival - Nov 9 1912
Depart - Fiume
Destination - To Joliet, IL to brother, Anton's house

Sister:

Johana (Dolosic) Belobraidic
Arrival - 11 May 1907
Destination- To St. Louis, MO to husband Andrew's house

The ancestor I am really seeking is my great-grandfather Josip Dolosic
(later Joe Dollas or Dallas). He appears in the 1910 census in Joliet,
IL with his brothers Anton and Andro. On the census, his date of
immigration, along with Anton's, is listed as 1910. The census page
was enumerated in April 1910.

The problem is that I have Josip's Declaration of Intention and he
lists arriving in this country on 18 Dec 1910 aboard the St. Paul. The
point of departure is listed as Cherbourg and the port of entry as New
York.

Obviously, one of these dates has to be wrong since he couldn't be

Is it possible he made several trips back and forth to Europe?

counted in the census before he washed ashore. Also, from my research,
it doesn't look like the St. Paul was at Ellis Island on that day.

Now, I am open to the idea that he entered through another port but I
don't know why the DOI would be wrong. Also, my searches on Ancestry
haven't turned up anything in that regard. Any advice that anyone
could offer me on what may be up with us or where to look next would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the time
