Ancestry LU pls?

PATTERSON LAMER G 35 M W MD AL JEFFERSON 45-PCT

He's at the bottom of 307A, the only person on either side born in
Maryland, but HQ's image is awful. Can someone read it on Ancestry?
Does it say "Widowed" ?? If not how old's his wife? [and the name
should be Lamar, not Lamer, but let's not quibble.]

On 307B, his 6-yr-old son is a boarder somewhere, so I'm suspecting Mrs.
Patterson died WAAAAY before 1951. (g)

To add to the quibbling, ancestry has him indexed as Lanier G.
Catterson....

It reads:

Patterson, Lamar G., boarder, white male, Sept 1865, married for 8
years, born Maryland, I can't make out where the father was born, mother
was born in Maryland, he worked as an analytical chemist

The next page has more boarders in the household, including the apparent
son, Thomas L. Patterson, but no sign of a female Patterson living
there. Any idea at all of her first name? She could have been skipped,
and then added on another page?
