Guard dog savages Elvis teddy bear

A guard dog has ripped apart a collection of rare teddy bears,
including one once owned by Elvis Presley, during a rampage at a
children's museum.

A Rampage! I'm devastated. My Elvis Bobble Head Doll is devastated!

Chances are if they did send him to China, they'd make a pet out of Barney
rather than a stir-fry as keeping dogs as pets is permitted now.

Y'all are suffering with what we dealt with for over nearly the entire month
of July... Thank the gods it finally "broke" last weekend - Who KNEW 90
degrees fahrenheit would be so welcome!

It made me laugh when my daughter in London said it had cooled to 90 --
mid-80s was considered a heatwave when I lived in London.

Remember we don't get humidity of any substance out here - certainly not in
the summer. But it was so humid my hair curled up as it hasn't since I
moved from Minnesota... combined with daily highs in excess of 100. Even
at night it was not dropping below 90 in the valleys...

And another LOL Usually my hair doesn't mind a little humidity -- but
this whole week I've had to wear it up except for the frizzy bit at the
front which got gel so I wouldn't resemble Alexandra :)

Folks here were in a really bad way.

LOL Last night it rained, dry air had been forecast, but it's forecast
to come this afternoon.
You know it's hot when:

even seasoned NYers don't sit in unair-conditioned subway cars during
the rush hour.

As I understand it's big business and that pets are quite pampered. :)
