novelty song about the sun

Ok, I'm on the verge of questioning my sanity. I'm positive there is a song
with lyrics about how the sun works...its quite child-like, like a rhyme
almost, and I thought it was by the Toy Dolls but I'm having NO luck finding
it under their name... I swear it sounds like the same vocalist (if you can
call him that) as Nellie the Elephant. Its most likely from the 80's.

please please please, someone MUST know it. Band name and title most
appreciated.
