Well, a few weeks ago I posted a message here to please critique my
dozen changes thanks to that feedback and would like to get ripped in
half again so I can make some additional improvements. LOL

detailed suggestions for improvements and highlight the aspects of the
site you really like.

Mark Rae...
1) I'm a software developer by trade, so my Internet Explorer options have
"Disable Script Debugging" turned off and "Display a notification about
every script error" turned on. Because of this, your site is to all intents
and purposes unusable because of the *huge* amount of HTML and JavaScript
coding and syntax errors. If I turn these settings off for a second, every
single page on your site displays the standard "Page displayed with errors"
warning in the bottom left-hand corner of the browser. I suggest you turn
these settings on and get rid of all the bugs in your HTML and JavaScript
before you do anything else.

2) The home page takes an enormous amout of time to load, though I suspect
this is because of all the coding errors.

3) Search criteria are not retained with the page posts back. E.g. go to the
search page and search for "The Beatles" - lots of results are returned
(with huge amounts of cellpadding), but the search criteria are lost,
meaning that I would need to type them in in again in order to refine my
search.

4) More often than not, your search page (and other pages) display MySQL
errors at the top - this is totally unacceptable, and only serves to show
people that you haven't done any proper testing.
E.g. do a search for "The Beatles" and "Abbey Road".

5) The hyperlinks in your top menu are broken. E.g. clicking on Songs
generates a "Cannot find server or DNS" error.

At this point, I gave up...

R. Leitner...
Hi Brent,
I am still interested in lyrics, so i'm still looking for new ones.
As i stated some weeks ago:

- far too much non-lyric related content
- there is a form to search for Artist/Album/Sons - OK
searching for an artist ie Deep Purple is leads me to a list
of 2214 resulst - WOW
- and now? No links, no lyrics - BAD

Maybe i am stuck or silly or what ever. where are the lyrics?

So i go back to the starting page, trying to click some of the links at
the very top of that page. Nothing happens. Hmm? Aah! I'm using Firefox

Of course, sometime they are amusingly so. My partner is much younger, and
she brought in lyrics for Fever today that were hilarious. One I remember
was "Fair and Hide" for "Fahrenheit"

Do you feel most

Everyone I know who use lyric sites use them for this same purpose. OTOH,
most people I know are musicians I suppose.

pTooner...
I don't know anyone who uses a lyric site who is not a performer of some
sort. I wouldn't have thought that anyone else used them, but you mentioned
earlier that some people look up lyrics for curiousity.

JavaScript disabled. That's the answer!

You do a great job on colecting all these lyrics and providing news and
infos about the artist but scripting makes me nervous.
