Have been asked by a friend if I could get her the words of this song. I've
never even heard of it.
Have searched the web for and searched lyrics sites but no luck.

You're right, Kenny, the title of the song is "Broken Hearted Clown."
It was written in 1937 by Don Pelosi and Harry Leon, though Art Noel
is credired in some places. Beside Chick Henderson, there are several
others who recorded it... Harry Roy, The Street Singer (Arthur Tracy),
Jack Hylton, Bram Martin, Sonny Farrar, and Bing Crosby, to name a
few.

Unfortunately, with all of the hits I found, none of them provided the
lyrics. I'll save your message and if anything shows up, I'll contact
