On Spanish radio I heard a song that ended with what sounded like "Te
quiero".

(something) (something) vivi?
(something) (something) mori?
...
(something) (something) (something) te quiero
(something) (something) (something) te quiero
...
(something) te quiero (something) te quiero (something) te quiero!
...
It was sung by a "seemingly" "middle-aged" female vocalist and I am
sure it is a fairly old song that's been out for a number of years. I
know I'm being real vague but I'm sure it's a popular Spanish song so
I'm wondering if anyone has any clue what I'm talking about.

Katrina & the Waves brought out a song called (I think) Que Te Quiero. Might
be worth checking out.

I thought about that, but it doesn't really fit with the rest of the
lyrics - great song, though!

I don't know Spanish and can't compare this to your lyrics, but
in the late 60s, this was a song that reached #14 on Billboard
titled "Lo Mucho Que Te Quiero" by Rene & Rene.
The song was subtitled "The More I Love You" and had
lyrics in both Spanish and English, if I recall correctly.
