Today Show

Has anyone noticed how much better the Today Show has been this week
without the cloying and annoying presence of Ann Curry. She's a lead
weight with her manic style of broadcasting and displays a very
distracting method of interviewing. Katie's departure hasn't had a
negative on the show either. No one seems to miss her diva-ness.

Too bad Campbell Brown won't stay around -- she's smart, cute in a
goofy way, funny and an awfully good journalist to boot.

While I don't mind Ann Curry, I have been thinking that Campbell Brown was a
good addition to the show, even if it's just for a little while. She is the
complete package: intelligence, personality and good looks. I don't see how
you could do better.

I dont mind Ann Curry either. I like Campbell Brown alot and would rather
see her than Natalie Morales. Whatever happened to Alexis Glick? I did not

She was once head of NYSE floor trading for a major brokerage house
Then went to CNBC as a business features reporter, then the downhill
slide continued when she went for it on the Today show and ended up
doing the sappiest pieces on dieting, dating, and fashion. Obviously
she has intelligence but by the end of this trajectory she was a giggly
morning show mess.

I think Meredith will be good. I agree with you about the lightness of
the atmosphere with Curry in Lebannon. The best thing ever for her
career would be a stray bullet. That's the only time anyone will have
anything nice to say about her career.
