This is the WORST SNL episode EVER!

They really gotta do something about the quality of the hosts. Perhaps
there is a way we could get Dane Cook to host maybe 4-5 times a season?

The new ep ranks near the top of the past few years. Baldwin
carried the show! And I appreciated that he didn't blatently
promote his latest project.

But I was thinking during the show, if it were up to me, I would
can these people at the end of the season. They ruin every sketch
they're in:

Will Forte
Horatio Sanz
Amy Poehler (WU especially, plus any of her regular chars)

The new featured players are good.

Geez, that observation is at opposites with the show I witnessed. I
thought the Alec Baldwin hosted show last night was the best SNL in a
long time. I judge that by the number of times I laughed out loud.

I agree. I can't stand Baldwin's politics but I won't take anything away
from his talent. He can pull off both drama and comedy quite well.

And I did...a lot. There have been many times in the past few years
where I've only managed a polite chuckle or two. The last 5-10 years,
featuring hosts still in their fifteen minutes of fame, hasn't done it
for me. A pro, like Alec Baldwin, did.
