AUSSIE director Robert Luketic has pulled the pin on the big-screen remake
of classic US TV show Dallas.

The man behind Legally Blonde has reportedly thrown a tanty and quit the
project, unhappy with some of the casting choices.

We're not sure just which actors he objected to but among those already
signed up to play members of the Ewing clan were John Travolta as JR,

Jennifer Lopez as Sue Ellen, Luke Wilson as Bobby and Shirley MacLaine as
Miss Ellie.

Doctor Dolittle director Betty Thomas is being touted as a possible
replacement for Luketic, according to People magazine in the US.

The film is due to start shooting in October.

It's not like you would even be able to tell the difference between
Robert Luketic and Betty Thomas. They're both complete and utter hacks.
