diana...
Please thank him so very much for sharing this with us.
I have moved from my stunned shock into tears upon reading his loving words.
How rare indeed it is to find someone so pure to love with all you have, and
have that returned as it clearly was for them.
I keep thinking about her precious little babies.... my heart breaks for how
much they're going to miss her too.
I feel like I've lost a member of my own family. I know we all feel that
way.
I miss her already so much.....
rest in peace Princess. you are loved.
diana
I am very sad to inform you all that our wonderful Pink Princess
passed away two days ago from heart failure. I am waiting on

k....
Add me to the list of those she touched. I've been reading ASG for 10
years now, and *very* seldom post, but always -always- looked forward
to her contributions. She was a lovely spirit and will be sorely
missed.

RIP, Princess--

raising a glass in your honor,

permission from her husband to post her obituary here.

R.I.P., Adrianne. You will be missed.

Bigolhomo...
That is terrible news. She was much too young for this, what a
tragedy.

Alan Moorman...
I've been missing the Princess for some time.

Also, I had to say that I assumed she was a guy. . . .

avery...
So did I! I was never absolutely sure, and I could never quite figure out a
way to ask without seeming, well, indelicate. Even now there's a residual
uncertainty. She could be a technical he and still have a devoted husband.
Could somebody shed light on this?

2nz...
Judging by the cleavage in her picture on one of her cards...she was
ALL woman.
...and then some.

edonline...
ah yes... the Princess and her puppies. :)

Really!

Alan

Leighlabella...
How horrible and sad! I'm so, so sorry.

edonline...
Very sad to hear this news. The Pink Princess was one of my favorite
posters in agc and I'm going to miss her wonderful sense of humor.

I'm sure there's Godiva chocolate in Heaven, or else The Princess
isn't going!

SyVyN11...
You are wrong Dez, this is very much On-Topic.

parula...
Oh, noooo. I'm in shock.

Ten years ago when I first started reading this group she, LCM and
David M. were mainstays. I loved her wit. I would laugh until tears
rolled down my cheeks at the barbs she and LCM would toss at each
other.

She was wonderful. This makes me so sad.

nina...
How sad. Thanks for the info. RIP

~Lisa...
How sad - she was a truly gracious and wonderful woman. I'll miss her
stories and fabulous sense of humor.

Wee Bit Strange...
I just want to add my name to the long list of AGCers who will miss
Pink Princess. Even though I've been posting here for years, I only had
one time where she and LCM engaged me -- albeit briefly -- in

-cat-...
As a long-time lurker in this group I am so sorry for the loss of your
friend. She definitely was one-of-a-kind.

conversation. It was like the prom queen and, err... queen had taken a
small notice of the dorky girl in the back of the class.

If only everyone could be so memorable, colorful and infinitely
charming that the news of their passing makes a stranger cry in her
cubicle. She will be missed.

hlk...
How awful. I didn't know her personally, but I loved reading her.
Thanks for letting us know.

grasshopper...
Pink has been a staple here for years. RIP Pink. You will be
missed.

GoldenDally...
I am saddened to hear this. I loved to read about her parties and
really enjoyed the pictures and recipes. She added a lot to this group
and will be missed.

GoldenDally...
If there isn't a page with all of that stuff on it, there should be. I
remember the first time I saw her cards I had absolutely no clue what
it
was, other than some kind of fantastical, baroquely detailed kind of
beautiful hallucination.

She used to alert the group when she had her Christmas cards ready for
mailing, but I never sent my address. I hear they are truly beautiful.

diana...
I'm in total shock.
A world of condolences to her loved ones.
On her last journal entry, she wrote that LCM's mother recently passed as
well, which likely accounts for his scarcity around these parts.
{{{hugs}}} to LCM on the loss of both of these ladies.

2nz...
Those cards were the coolest thangs I ever did see.
They could have made Andy Warhol crack up.

nimue...
This is a terrible loss. She was wonderful, witty, and her posts always
filled me with joy.

Callen Molenda...
Oh no!

I feel awful, and I never even met her, although I have enjoyed her
Christmas cards and her witty posting style for years.

So sorry to hear this.

Messalina...
This is terrible news. She was one of a kind.

At least she did indeed "live" while she was with us.

AlicesDad...

i hate it when real life
intrudes upon the immortal cyber life ;-(

painter...
She was a class act.
my condolences to her husband and her sister.
L.

Zeb Quinn...
She had style and she had wit. She graced this place. And 55 is way,
way, WAY too young to die, especially like that.

boncoss...
I am so sorry to hear about Pink Princess. She was hilarious. LCM, your
postings gave me a lump in my throat. Hang in there. Peace

bklyntv...
Gosh, the second net personality that I "knew", albeit only virtually
that has passed on recently. RIP Pink Princess.

Mrs Ken Ehrett...
Oh dear. Very sad news indeed. Godspeed and fair skies....

Doctor Wu...
I read this last night and it brought tears to my eyes, as if someone I
know personally has passed. What a brilliant, wonderful person she was.
To say that AGC and ASG will not be the same without her is an
understatement, I think many will agree. In some ways she *was* AGC,
always with something witty to say, as well as providing celeb gossip
that she heard herself. My sympathy to her husband and family. FYI I
searched the web for Pink Princess, and I found her AOL page:
AGC page still, I know there are pics of some posters on a website, but
perhaps if there is an AGC site there could be a page dedicated to PP.
I know it's a lot of work to do websites, but it's just a suggestion.

mslindac...
As one of the old timers around both groups, it truly saddens me to
hear that the Princess will no longer regale us with her delightful
posts. Prayers to her Prince and also to LCM.

Linda C.

investinbabe...
That's devastating news. I just went to her site and read her
obituary. She was far too young for this to happen. Her posts always
made me laugh, especially the exchanges with LCM. I remember the alt.

Kris Baker...
While you're at the jukebox, please play Brenda's "All Alone Am I"....and
wink at all of us, OK?

JFlexer...
and Peggy Lee - some sad, bluesy Peggy Lee...

Centre of the Known Universe...
Oh I couldn't darling - not that song - it's too sad. I'll get up and do
Fool #1 for edonline, only change it to Fool #10,742. He's a slut's slut,
afterall. I'd ask him to co-write a book with me, but - well - it would
mostly be me giving a review and him giving a review of the same person,
only ten years later when they'd clearly gone blind from too much booze or
pills.

group that seemed to consist of her, LCM, and David whoosits.

Gwen...
I didn't know but she seems to have been a lovely person. My sympathy to
her husband and family.

theresa...
I imagine this is a sparkling night beyond the Pearly Gates with
Adrienne St George restored to the blush of health and live,
live, living her initial hours on fluffy Pink clouds with the
likes of Patrick Dennis and Roz Russell...

I remember her begging me to sell the cat sketches Edith Head
drew for my sister and I when we went to lunch at her house --
now Edith can draw some especially for our decent, wise, and
lovng Pink Princess.

All little girls want to grow up to be Princesses. Those
blessed with an Internet connection and an ear for gossip had
our Pink Princess to teach them how.

Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon Her, and May She Rest in Peace.

avery...
What a shock! God. I had no idea -- guess that explains why she hadn't been
around lately.
I'm so sorry. Wish I'd had the pleasure of interacting with her. Did you
know her outside of this place? How's her husband dealing?

Myszk...
I am so sorry to read this. Her posts were ones I really looked forward
to reading. She, as many have said here, will be missed. What a lady!

Margaret Houlihan...
Oh, that's so sad....RIP, Princess.

Wild Monkshood...
I hate to hear that. I don't think I interacted with her much, if at
all, but she was a fixture here as long as I've been here.

Wild Monkshood

Donna Whitman...
OMG! I haven't been a regular here in years but I was a regular in the
mid 90's and remember the Princess for sure. I am so sorry to hear
this. My condolences to her family.

emeraldeyes.nyc...
I'm so sorry. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. She's
going to be so very missed by so many people. :-(

It's as if the world has a little less pink and fabulousness in it.

Ms.B.Haven...
How awful. Thank you so much for letting us know. Adrienne is one of
the few people whose posts I always read, no matter the topic. She was
truly one of a kind and really seemed to live life to the fullest. I
loved reading about her parties and looking at the pictures on their
website.

I'm really going to miss her.

Mikki...
I am in shock. Somehow I missed the original post and just now saw this.
Thanks, Dez, for letting us all know.

I echo all of your thoughts and feelings, Ms. B, especially about reading her
posts, no matter the subject. I also was a fan of her blog and website. This
is so very sad. She was so sweet, courteous and funny. I will miss her
entertaining thoughts and descriptions.

It also concerns me about LCM. I hope that someone who has been close to him
will contact him to let him know that we are thinking about him and care about
him.

Roofshadow...
LCM was my first thought also after the news sunk in.

nina...
Same. I read her blog and he lost both his parents and then her. I cant
imagine how he must be. :(

r.i.p, Princess.of Pink,

Puzzla...
I'm sure she would appreciate my honesty, even if some here won't, so here

Centre of the Known Universe...
Thank you, darling. I feel it, I really do. She was always my inspiration.
She always will be. :-)

Sending Love
LCM

goes....

For the longest time I thought she was a man in drag. Her posts were always
so deliriously funny and offbeat, that surely.... LOL. As a long time

Alan Williams...
So did I. I didn't realize that her castle and dinner parties were real
until I just now followed some links. Her posts were fun but the
reality must have been even better.

My condolences to her friends and family.

member who comes and goes, (eh), I've noticed that most of us here can give
as good as we get. But it was the tone of her posts that set her apart,
imo. One never really knew if she insulted them or not. How do you respond
to someone who appears to be flattering you? But after a quick look up in
the dictionary, you realized you had just gotten your ass kicked. LOL
Hopefully you realized this BEFORE replying to her posts. She will be
missed.

robbielynn...
I am amazed to learn this sad news. Like you, I thought she was a
man...a
real fun type guy. I looked at her photos and her house was amazing
and
she looked great in her costumes! - Robbielynn

Dustbunny...
What a shock. I'm going to miss her beautiful Christmas cards.

kewlkat...
As a long-term reader of AGC I mostly lurk these days, but for the
Princess, I'll add my name to the long list of those who will miss her.
People have come and gone over the years but I know I'll miss her
'Pinking Shears'.

wendyg...
Oh, that's too bad. She was a real character around these parts.

f5...
Oh no, that's terrible! She was such a life force!

RIP, Pink Princess. You will certainly be missed here.

Fragile Warrior...
Hey, Dez, is there a snail mail address to send a card to her Prince? You
can email me from this address.
