I hate seeing morbidly obese kids. Its not liek kids can go shopping
and buy their own food. Parents are to blame for most of that IMO.

It is happening more and more these days. Parents are the only ones to
blame. In our fast paced society, fast food is becoming more than norm than
the exception. I cringe when I see kids eating a huge bag of chips in the
store before their parents even pay for it.
One thing the French have over us is they make their meals an event, not a
race.

Well, this is true, but I also know kids who play video games who are thin.
They just don't overeat and they have physical activity too. If they adjust
their intake to meet the output, there won't be a problem.
Another problem is so many foods are filled with high fructose corn syrup or
it is added and it stimulates the appetite so people crave more, therefore
eat more.
