Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is to become a dad for the first time --
his TV producer wife is expecting a child this spring.

Congrats to them. IMO, Dave Grohl is very cool and I wish them the best.

Rumors the singer and his spouse, Jordyn Blum, were expecting a baby have
been circulating for months, but bandmate Taylor Hawkins unwittingly
confirmed speculation when he told MTV.com about the group's touring
schedule.

He said, "We're going to be touring Europe in January and February, but
we've got be home by March, because Dave and his wife are having a baby.

"But I probably wasn't supposed to tell you that."

Yes, a couple years now. It's his 2nd. She was some young producer at
MTV.

Grohl joins a growing list of rocker dads-to-be. In September, Queens of the
Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and Distillers singer Brody Dalle confirmed
they are expecting a child, while news broke two months later that White
Stripes star Jack White and supermodel wife Karen Elson expecting as well.

He's also supposedly moved to Portland -- in my neighborhood. I've been
keeping an eye out, but haven't seen him yet.
