well then, if both bear the responsibility, why is it only the womans
choice to abort?
I know you;ll give some feminist repsonse of "the man cant control her
body" or something like that, but regardless of the reasons, to me, its
just another pro-woman double standard. If its both their responsibility,
then there should be a case for they both have to agree to abort.
It'll never fly tho. Too extreme I guess.

I'm not a dad type of Guy
March 02, 2006
HE'S been married for almost nine years, but actor Guy Pearce has shunned
the notion of fatherhood, saying he would be too "emotionally inconsistent".
The surprising revelation comes as Pearce, who is married to psychology and
social work student Kate Mestitz, has arrived back in Australia after
completing work on his latest film, Factory Girl.
The heavily hyped project chronicles the story of Andy Warhol and his
protegee Edie Sedgwick - played by English glamour Sienna Miller.
Pearce's take on the father of pop art Warhol is expected to propel the
Aussie actor into Hollywood mega-stardom, and fittingly, Pearce recently
told the UK press he has no room available in his life for children.
"I've no desire to be a dad at all," the former Neighbours actor told The
Guardian last week.
"I'd be too emotionally inconsistent, and there's enough people in the world
anyway.
"I definitely still have those moments where I go, 'I have to be on my own,
I can't be giving to anybody at all.'
"I don't think it's fair to do that to a kid."
In the unusually candid interview, Pearce, once a junior body building
champion, describes himself as "the girliest guy I know".
The actor ascribed his troubled sense of masculinity to the fact that his
dad, a test pilot, died when he was eight.
Hence his affiliation with females, said Pearce, which clearly includes his
stunning co-star Miller.
"Sienna was a breath of fresh air," he said.
"She's perceptive and smart and would give anyone a run for the money. I
just adore her."
