T'aint love just a tiny Oz tattoo

WITHIN minutes of hitting Australia for her first visit, the new princess of
pop, Rihanna, was scoring a special souvenir - a tattoo on her ankle.

"It's a treble clef and the 16th note. I wanted something small and cute
that would remind me forever of being here," she said yesterday.

stamp?

waist line. That is the tramp stamp.

The 18-year-old from Barbados has held the No. 1 spot on the Aussie chart
for six weeks with her single S.O.S.

While there is no disputing her talent, part of the single's success is due
to its sample of the '80s hit, Tainted Love, by Soft Cell.

But as Rihanna points out, the 60-year-olds who love it relate to the
original '60s version by Gloria Jones.

"I didn't know the song very well before but I did my research when we were
recording S.O.S.," she said.
