The Starmaker...
Now here is a true story with a Happy Ending...

How come they don't make a movie about it?
Doesn't Hollywood like movies with happy endings anymore??

The Starmaker

Greg Bryant...
Maybe they should offer Cliff Robertson the role.

nobody...
I always thought Robertson was a bankable star, but after he refused to
join in the coverup of Begelman's embezzlement, he became, as far as I can
tell, an un-person in Hollywood.

The Starmaker...
Cliff Robertson is an actor, and most actors are human beings.
His problem was, he was working for people who are not
human beings, and he simply did not want to sell his
soul to the devil.

The Starmaker

...and people who shoot themselves in hotel rooms by themselves have
no soul, they sold it a long time ago!

Zeb Quinn...
But Robertson is goyim, no?

The Starmaker...
Does Cliff Robertson play the good guy or a bad guy?

And is David Begelman the good guy or the bad guy?

I'm a little confused...

I think *most* people in the world would
think Cliff Robertson is the good guy and
David Begelman is the bad guy...because the bad
guy got it in the end...

but the Hollywood people
the people who make movies
probably have their morals or
views in reverse...they
probalby see Cliff Robertson as the
bad guy and David Begelman as the
good guy.

The Starmaker

The Starmaker...
Of course, the story is a little *inaccurate*.....

it was Clift Robertson who was blacklisted for years, even
though he was the one who got robbed!

and Begelman got a paid vacation...took off until the heat
was off and when he returned, they made him CEO and president of MGM!

A gonif's dream!!

The guy who gets robbed, get's blacklisted...the guy who did
the robbing gets to be president of MGM!!!!

Doesn't that sound like the *real* Hollywood?

The Starmaker

But at least it had an happy ending...

The Starmaker...
So, who is the biggest gonif in Hollywood today?
