Hollywood director Ron Howard's daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, is reported
in talks to play Peter Parker's first high school crush in Spider-Man 3.

This is worse casting than Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane. Gwen Stacy was drawn
as a gorgeous blonde. Bryce Dallas Howard is neither gorgeous or blonde.
She's kind of homely.

Sam Raimi is directing the movie, which is scheduled to start filming this
month, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The character of Gwen was kidnapped by the Green Goblin and died in Amazing
Spider-Man comic book issue 121, The Reporter noted.

Please recall that I said long ago that they should adapt this story. Now
they have to adapt Spidey #90, whene Gwendy's dad, Captain Stacy gets
killed by Doc Ock.

Although Columbia Pictures is hush-hush about the third movie's plot, it is
known that there is a love triangle and this time, Gwen survives.

Tobey Maguire, James Franco and Kirsten Dunst will all be back for the new
installment along with villians played by Topher Grace and Thomas Haden
Church.
