Maybe she tried to eat Cowboy Troy.

Country star Wynonna Judd has tackled her food addiction problems head on --
by spending 42 days in rehab.
The singer checked into the Shades of Hope clinic in Buffalo Gap, Texas, on
January 8 after realizing her constant need for food was a disorder.
Judd has since lost 30 pounds and she's now determined to live a healthier
life.

They must have filmed Nashville Star before this - she is really huge
on the show.

She says, "I just didn't want to come into 2006 like I had so many years of
just being so tired. I just wasn't able to really take care of myself like I
needed to and I couldn't figure out what was wrong.
"(Going into rehab) was like going to college and learning why it is such an
addiction. I learned about myself ... why I do the things I do. We are so
distracted by so much in life. I slowed down to a pace where I could think
thoughts, feel things."
Judd admits the rehab experience was tough -- she was forbidden from
snacking on the things she loves.
She adds, "The first thing they do is they take away the addiction and I
went through detox, literally. I detoxed through caffeine and sugar, which
is some of the worse detoxing you can do. You want somebody to be miserable
take them off sugar and caffeine for a week.
"By the fifth day I got really sick and by the second week I felt clear. I
was no longer in food fog, they call it."

Uhmmm....methinks that was 99.9% withdrawal from the caffeine
addiction. Pretty pitiful when you have to go to rehab to get off of
caffeine!! ;)

Actually, health coaches , or nutritionists say caffeine is very
addictive.
I love coffee and without it I can get a headache.- robbie

Anyone else have a reverse reaction to caffeine? It makes me sleepy. The
first time I tried Jolt Cola ("All the sugar, Twice the caffeine"), I fell
asleep with the glass in my hand.

Funny, I've had that happen to me with cola, too. I don't think it's
the caffeine per say, because I drink a lot of coffee and it never
happens to me with that. I think it's something in the cola plus the
sugar.

I know someone this happens to. They have ADD or ADHD, whatever they are
calling it now. Things that normally speed people up, slow them down.

I'm thinking it's mostly a sugar issue with her.

Seriously - I don't believe that cutting sugar can cause the serious
physical withdrawal that caffeine causes. I think sugar is more of a

Yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After I have a cup of coffee I'm

psychological addiction (which can still be powerful). I shouldn't
have made light of going to rehab to kick caffeiene, though, because I
would probably have to do that myself since the only time I've ever
been able to stop caffeine was when I was pregnant. My body was going
through so much with the morning sickness and fatigue anyway, that it
didn't really seem to matter.
I'm down to one shot of espresso per day right now ... but even so, if
I don't get my proper dosage on a particular day ... yikes ... horrible
throbbing headache !!!

Judd credits her new healthy life to a strict diet, which follows the
Association for Diabetes food guides: "It's plenty of food, it's just not
white flour, no sugar, no caffeine. It's all vegetables and healthy protein
and starches."
