STOP the presses: Keith Urban has become a movie star and will replace
Russell Crowe as Nicole Kidman's love interest in Baz Luhrmann's outback
epic.

The creative minds at UK tabloid The Sun have gone into overdrive with this
latest report on Baz's troubled flick, claiming that Kidman has asked the
Aussie director to consider country crooner Urban for the role.

But don't laugh just yet - Urban comes well qualified: apparently he was in
a drama troupe as a teenager.

"Nicole thinks he would be perfect for the role and that their real life
magic would jump on to the screen," a "source" tells the paper.

Huh? When has she ever had 'magic' with her male co-stars?

Really? She looked cold in all those. I have yet to see her actually warm
up to her male co-stars. She's a very good actress, but even little tommie
cruise out-acted her from the "I'm in love with my spouse" script. I got
the sense that he actually loved her and remember he has limited range.

He may be about to become Mr Keith Kidman, but somehow we think a big screen
debut is highly unlikely.
