George Clooney to make stalker site usless

George Clooney is organizing a grass-roots effort to take on the Gawker
Stalker Web site, which posts sightings of celebrities as they occur,
enabling gawkers and stalkers to track down celebrities. How's he
doing it? Via his publicist, Stan Rosenfield, of course.
"There is a simple way to render these guys useless," Clooney
advised in an e-mail his publicist sent out to various other
show-business publicists.
"Flood their Web site with bogus sightings. Get your clients to get
10 friends to text in fake sightings of any number of stars. A couple
pluto...

" . . . [T]his just in, from a tipster: 'Last night, 1 AM, saw George
Clooney in a gang bang at The Eagle. He looked sweaty and was bleating
like a sheep.'"

useless. That's the fun of it. And then sit back and enjoy the

Then again, if everything that is fake was considered "useless," 99
percent of L.A. residents would suddenly find themselves out of work.
