Lost In Translation star was full of smiles as she posed for photos and gave
interviews, but a microphone at a press conference on Monday picked up a
private conversation Johansson had with her co-star Matthew Goode. British
newspaper The Independent reports she said, "Oh my God, I didn't see you at
all last night. What did you think? I thought the whole thing was awful.
None of the British journalists had seen the movie and they were all asking

No, I wasn't there and my post was not whether she said it or not but
the interpretation of the quote is all wrong, the quotes she allegedly
said never interpretes to calling the British media dumb at all, you
can certainly ask dumb questions without being accused of being dumb
and she certainly didn't call them dumb in her quotes. It is a matter
of interpretation and the interpretation is not only wrong but also an
exageration.
It is the same as when you read headlines about celebrities SLAMMING
one another or rumours, when you do read these kind of articles, you
find out that there was no kind of slamming going on. It is a matter
of how the English language is used these days, everything needs to be
heightened in order to get attention.
