Rachel Hunter denies she is delaying the finalization of her divorce from
Rod Stewart, insisting she is baffled by their continued husband and wife
status.

The model split from the singer in January 1999, but remains married to the
61-year-old, despite numerous reports to the contrary.

Hunter, 36, insists she is doing everything she can to speed up the process.

She says, "The divorce should be through this month.

"I don't know why the divorce dragged on for as long as it has, but I'm not
going for half his money and I'm not going to get a single penny's
settlement."
