I didn't know Lance Armstrong was the ultimate authority in deciding if

I've only been to France once and I was still very young (14 or 15) but
I do remember they were very friendly and I had a great time. But then

First, they weren't having a relationship. Then, they were planning a secret
wedding.

Then, they weren't ever getting married. Now, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
are walking around Paris sporting rings, fueling the rumors that Brangelina
has already tied the knot. "Brad and Angelina have their own secret and the
rings are part of it," a source told The Sun. "In her mind they're married."

Yesterday I was in a touristy part of my city at some kind of "food court"
(?) and was waiting in line at a (terrible) sushi counter while my
out-of-town friends were getting food from other vendors. A French couple in
front of me was having some trouble communicating with the Chinese (yes,
Chinese) vendors and vice-versa, but everything seemed OK. The cashier
handed the guy a root beer at the end of the transaction and off the French
duo went to find a table.

About 5 minutes later, I was still on the line, and the French guy came back
looking a little confused, carrying the bottle that was now half-filled with
root beer. He was complaining to the "sushi chef" that the beer tasted
horrible. I personally don't know how he could have chugged that much
without gagging, but I guess he kept hoping the next gulp might taste
better, or at least taste like beer. It was pretty funny. It was a pretty
interesting cultural exchange, the French guy kind of outraged that this
stuff was being passed off as beer and the Chinese guy shaking his head and
saying "no alcohol, that's root beer, no alcohol, that's root beer." I
wound up playing interpreter and all ended well with the guy getting a Coke
instead. I guess you kind of had to be there.

I do believe the article stated that this was a neighborhood place that
she frequents quite often. I do not think it's out of the ordinary for
someone to walk into a small neighborhood "deli" type place and make a
joke like, "Where's my cheese??"

and I was quite impressed with her mother. Maybe Ang can bring herself out
