PorchMonkey4Life...
If this role doesn't get DiCaprio an Oscar nod (and a win) I don't know
what will.

This movie is close to 2.5 hours but I didn't check my watch one. the
pace of the movie was good. the action was good. The directing was good.
The movie was humorous, dark and serious at different times. I was
thoroughly entertained.

I think all the roles were well cast except for the Nicholson mobster
role. I don't think he quite pulls it off. Matt Damon was good. DiCaprio
was excellent. Martin Sheen was good. Alec Baldwin was good. Even Marky
Mark was good. marky Mark defintely delivers in the end.

The movie is about a mobster infiltrating the police and a policeman
infiltrating the mob and how their world collide leading to a whole
lotta departing.

I had high expectations for this movie and they were, for the most part,
met.

I rate this film 3.5 out of 4.0 stars.

DiCaprio is the best (young) actor out there. I would put him in the
same league as Pacino, Deniro, Washington, Cheadle and Depp. He's not
much to look at but he sure can act!

janklowicz24...
NOBODY is in Pacino's league.

Only Dustin Hoffman, Jack Nicholson and Paul Newman can even come in
his ballpark.

Al Smith...
OK, I'm sorry, but I've got to know. What it is between Martin
Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio? Is DiCaprio sucking Scorsese's
dick? Why is Scorsese, a great director, putting this little
bleached weasel in all his films?

PorchMonkey4Life...
Actually Leo's got geniune talent. He went from friggin' growning pains
(for cryin' out loud) to working with Deniro (in "This Boy's Life").

Al Smith...
Sure. Whatever you say. In the "Aviator" he looked like a kid
dressed up in his father's clothes, trying to pretend he was an
adult. I bet he makes a scary gangster.
