Mary-Kate quit college to be happy

Teen star Mary-Kate Olsen quit her studies at New York University (NYU) in
October because her acting career makes her happier than writing college
assignments.

Wyle Coyote...
Or did she quit because she parties too much and flunked out after the
first year?
Read between the lines people.

C'mon, people. She's a Kid. A very wealthy kid. No better or worse
than any other kid who starts college.

The New York Minute beauty has now moved to Los Angeles and is spending her

Sarcasm there.....if I wanted to be a more well-rounded person by going
to college, why would I want to drop out?

required you to memorize facts; that is replaced with an insistence that you
deal with IDEAS. That difference is enormous.

High school does not prepare you for that shift, to their shame.

Good on simple Mary-Kate in her future endeavours. No way should she be
ridiculed.

I guess it depend son the person, I mean, for instance Portman went
BACK to college INSTEAD OF persuing more acting jobs.

I don't know, not an actor myself, but always enjoy performing on
stage... I think I'd like it better than college (or at least the

I was wondering if that was sarcasm, maybe a play on the word but in regards
to eating too much. Doesn't everyone gain weight in college?
