Jackman set for an exciting 2006

Hugh Jackman, fresh from his successful and well-publicised stint on
Broadway in The Boy From Oz, has clearly secured himself a place in the
Hollywood big league.
As well as voicing a character for animated movie Happy Feet, the Aussie
actor will release a phenomenal six more films in 2006.

He will lend his voice to another animation, Flushed Away, with Kate Winslet
and Sir Ian McKellen, where his character is a rat lost in the sewers of
London.
X-Men 3 will be released in the next year, with the spin-off movie based on
Jackman's character in the fantasy, Wolverine, to follow in 2007.
He will play an aristocratic Englishman in Woody Allen's Scoop, alongside
Scarlett Johansson, and will play opposite Rachel Weisz in epic sci-fi
drama, The Fountain.
Later in the year he will star with Christian Bale and Michael Caine in The
Prestige, about rival magicians in turn-of-the-century London, and will play
a professor of literature in 1930s Germany in Good.
It has also been announced that Jackman will star in the Walt Disney movie,
If You Could See Me Now, to be released in 2007.
As well as his film commitments, Jackman will bring The Boy From Oz home to
Australia in the middle of 2006.
