With a new film that is being touted as one of the year's biggest flops,
Sharon Stone could be forgiven for keeping a low profile.
But as she stepped out to her fourth premiere in a week, avoiding the
limelight was clearly not her intention.

The 48-year-old star chose a gaudy yellow lipstick for the German debut of
Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction.

"Her dress, make-up and hair were immaculate," said one onlooker.

"But all everyone was looking at were her yellow lips, which looked
completely out of place."

Perhaps exhaustion was the reason for Miss Stone's throwback to the 1980s,
when yellow lipstick was in vogue.

She has already attended premieres in London, Madrid, Paris and Rome in a
whirlwind of promotional activity after the movie received poor reviews from
critics.

She was reputedly paid Ł7.7million to reprise her role as ice-pick-wielding
killer Catherine Trammell, 14 years after the first Basic Instinct film,
starring Michael Douglas.
