Since when? God, JD was one of the *worst* movies of the '80's.
Killed Joe Piscopo's career and almost did the same to Michael
Keaton's until Tim Burton cast him in Batman.
The script was mildly amusing, but god, the directing was horrible --
no pacing, no reeling anyone in from their mugging (particularly
Piscopo). Not even Marilu Henner was able to save it with her
crackshot timing. Ugh!
