Jessica Simpson is reportedly regretting her split from Nick Lachey - and
believes they could patch their marriage up.

The pair split last year, despite their high profile marriage making big
stars of both of them through their hit reality TV show, The Newlyweds.

However, the pair are said to have started talking together again, rather
than through their lawyers - and Simpson is now having second thoughts about
their separation, and is holding on to the idea of giving their marriage a
second chance.

According to Life & Style Magazine she told a friend, "We were happy. We did
one thing after another to get even with each other, but there really was
nothing we couldn't have worked out, but I just didn't try.

"I don't know what I'll do if I see him. It's going to be rough. I just keep
wishing it was easy between us again. I wish none of this bad stuff had

preesi...

Eh. She's realised the split has affected her marketability, and she
doesn't want to pay alimony. Not to mention he's dating other women, and
