It's not all natural: Cindy Crawford says her surgeon, botox and vitamin
injections help preserve her looks.

SUPERMODEL Cindy Crawford has admitted she has been using a cosmetic surgeon
to maintain her looks for 11 years, stunning fans who assumed her beauty was
natural.

British media reports have cited an interview the 40-year-old actor gave to
French magazine Gala, in which she admitted to using botox injections and
collagen. "I'm not going to lie to myself," Crawford was quoted as saying.

"Past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order
to restore elasticity, all I can really count on is vitamin injections,
Botox and collagen."

The article said Crawford had admitted she had been receiving extra help
with her looks since she was 29.

"I have a very simple, healthy life, which works miracles," she said. "I
drink a lot of water, watch what I eat and exercise.

"But I owe the quality of my skin to my cosmetic surgeon."

Many fans had long assumed Crawford's looks were natural.

She was smart, too, starting to see the dr when she was still in her
twenties. A teensy tune up every year has kept her looking natural
instead of having one big overhaul when it's all gone to hell. I hate
that excessive saran wrap plastic surgery look, but I see nothing wrong
with a little prudent surgical maintenance.

Very true, especially since her livelyhood depends on it. It is
literally all she does, look good. It bothers me when actresses do
this, because SUPPOSEDLY they are supposed to be talented at acting,
not just being pretty...

broke up with Richard Gere? Might've been the final straw ...

you may have something there.

well it's strange because to me her face looks like she's had stuff
done..... and it certainly wasn't subtle.......
if she had just let herself age naturally she probably would have been
a knockout...... the last photo i saw of her looked strange...... it
was a candid or paparazzi....... i.e. she was not all made up etc

The model has her own cosmetics line Meaningful Beauty that claims to reduce
damage to the skin, using anti-oxidants and vitamins.
