Constantinian Order: H.E. the Bishop of Vescovio, GC of Merit appointed a Vice-Grand Prior

The Most Reverend Monsignor Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo, Bishop of Vescovio,
Grand Cross of Merit, has been appointed a Vice-Grand Prior of the
Constantinian Order.

Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo (hijo) is the son of Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo
(padre). Marcelo S.S. (padre) is the son of Matias Guillermo Sanchez
Sorondo and Micaela Costa Paz. Matias G. S.S. was the son of Matias
Guillermo Sanchez of a traditional family from the Province of San Juan
(Argentina) and Rosa Sorondo Ramos of a traditional family from Buenos
Aires City. Micaela Costa Paz was the daughter of Julio A. Costa
(governor of the Province of Buenos Aires) and Agustina Paz. Julio A.
Costa was the son of Pedro Costa (himself a son of Jose Costa y
Teixedor, a Catalonian merchant living in Montevideo, now Uruguay) and
Maria Isla (herself a daughter of Patricio Isla, whose real name was
Patrick Island an Irish who was part of the 71st Highland Regiment
during the failed British Invasion of Buenos Aires in 1806). Agustina
Paz was the daughter of Marcos Paz (vicepresident of Argentina, of a
traditional family from the Province of Tucuman, Argentina) and Micaela
Cascallares (of a traditional family of ranchers in the Province of
Buenos Aires).
