She's got weeds growing out of her head!
Nancy2...
|
I love it - since she married Charles, her grooming has taken a giant
leap towards impeccable...or the press is not trying to find
unflattering poses for pictures, one or the other. ;-)
|
Foxglove...
|
I knew it, she *is* Medusa.
avery...
|
Come on - it's obviously some kind of wonders-of-nature theme party, Check
out the woman behind her wearing the acorn cap.
(Am I the only person in the world who likes Camilla?)
Buttercup...

Uh...yes! You would be it! <<<<<<<

Uh...yes! You would be it!

Bubbles...
|
Well, there's Charles.
wth...
|
Well, yes, he is rather dashing:
or
"Look, Camiller, this is wot I'm gonna do to you tonight!"
|
No one seems to realize that by Camilla's standards, this hat is a
conservative model of restraint, a deliberate effort to be inconspicuous.
Most of her hats are the size of a city block.
Bubbles, a living tribute to additives and preservatives

Looks like her future daughter in law is giving her a run for her
money:
Brian Watson...

I knew it: pod people, all of them.

No you are not. I like her too. Charles should have married her in
the first place and not that disaster of a trophy wife he married
Wyle Coyote...
|
But he didn't! Now look at the mess he made!!!
flaviaR...
|
Yes, all by himself, because he's a magician.

|
first.
Brian Watson...
|
However, he DID marry Diana, which suggests a lack of judgement as well as
an inability to keep his willy under control once he'd signed up for a life
term.

Jean Sue Libkind...
|
I agree. If I were going to have a cup of coffee (or something
stronger), I'd prefer it be with Camilla than that neurotic spoiled brat
Charles married the first time.
Fred...
|
Get away! You jest. This is a wind up isn't it?
|
|
flaviaR...
|
It's galling to think that the people for whom he gave her up were
the ones most against him marrying her now.
yD...
|
That's families for ya!
yD
Libbie...
|
I thought she was the one who wouldn't marry him, that she got tired of
waiting for him while he was on military duty and married Andrew
Parker-Bowles instead.

|
I like her, too, but the sidewise position of that hat (not the
construction of it) made me wince and wonder how uncomfortable it was
to wear.
yD...
|
It's nice, though to see a photo of her NOT holding on to her hat.
yD
Jean Sue Libkind...
|
Ever since this came up about Camilla holding on to her hat, I haven't
been able to ignore the number of photos of the Queen doing the same
thing. Last night I watched the Queen at 80 on PBS and there she was,
holding on to her brim during the playing of God Save the Queen.
(Ironic, yes?) In going through some old magazines I've seen the same
thing. Apparently it happens to every woman with a broad brimmed hat in
a slight breeze ;)
|
|
I noticed the acorn hat, too. How funny was that? Someone should have
plonked a propeller on it.

|
But then she couldn't have worn it to the "Sea Urchin Ball" at the Fallaughs
at Wythecoombeshropshire-on-Sea in a fortnight.
|
|
Cloudbusting...
|
Nope. I like her too.
chrissy...

Make that three (and I know of quite a few more)

i like her too,

Wyle Coyote...

Shhhh!
Or we might have to snuff you out. ;-)

its a present from the Queen - a baby triffid!

Always said she was turnip head.

Wyle Coyote...

What's that on Camooosa's head???
Uh...antlers? Just a guess. ;-)

Unfortunately it was poor Diana who was wearing the horns in this instance.

Jean Sue Libkind...

It's also very much in fashion at the moment.

It reminds me of an old German children's book that used to mesmerize me at
my grandparents' house -- probably dating back to the 1930's or something.
It had these beautiful illustrations of little bugs and flowers and other
garden critters all walking around in the grass (and in underground tunnels)
holding little candles and wearing things like leaves, vegetables and little
antennae on their heads as they carried tiny lanterns around.
I'll bet that's just FASCINATING to all of you! But Camilla brought it back
to me!
Long live the Concubine Camilla!
