With due modesty the Times published a great scoop the other day,
revealing that the romance between Lord Nicholas Windsor and Princess
Paola de Doimi de Frankopan was a real fairytale.

You are misrepresenting the fact: they were not denied membership of
the Croatian nobility but of a private association of Croation nobles,
which does not at all deny the fact that they are Croatian nobles,
quite the contrary. They are not Frankopans and not of great or ancient
extraction, but they are nevertheless nobles.

hey presto, their daughter became a princess. The odd thing is that no
paper followed up this story. I wonder why."
