Princedom of Mesagne

Can anyone tell me about the parents etc. of Benedetta de Angelis, the
Principessa di Mesagne? She was also the Principessa di Bitetto, the
Marchesa di Ceglie, di San Chirico, di Paupisi, the Baronessa di
Finocchieto, and the Signora di Palo del Colle. She married Giovanni
Lorenzo Pappacoda Principe di Triggiano about 1680ish. Thanks

Seems to have been bought into the Pappacoda family then late 18th
century into the Filomarino family.

The de Angelis family come from Naples, King Filippe IV, created the
Principe di Bitetto e Benedetto Principe di Miasage. Carlo II created
the title of Marchese di S.Agapito e Fulvia on the year of 1680. Carlo
IV King of Naples created the title of Duca di S. Donato in 1711,
Ferdinando IV created 1797 the title of Marchese di Torre Ruggero.

Of course they owned the fiefdom of S. Celso which was a Barony and
later upgraded to a Princely title.

The Beltrano family were Signori and later Conti di Mesagne, though I
don't know the connection, if any.
I don't have the exact details you require, though the following may
help (or hinder).
A. Carmine de Angelis, Principe di Mesagne, married 20-6-1694 Violante
Pignatelli (1682-1720) (perhaps a brother of Benedetta)

B. Ferrante de Angelis dei Principi di Mesagne e Bitetto married
Isabella de Liguori. Their daughter Beatrice +1673, married Alfonso
Caracciolo 1641-1677

C. Don Flaminio de Angelis Principe di Bitetto md 1632 Emilia Carafa
della Spina
