Charles von Hamm...
Prior to 1918, what were the full, formal titles and styles of archdukes and
archduchesses? Was it simple or similar to HI&RH Archduke/Archduchess
of Austria, Prince(ss) Imperial of Austria, Prince(ss) Royal of
Hungary & Bohemia or was it something longer?

Many thanks in advance.

I think they were also Counts and Countesses of Habsburg, but I am not
sure.

Charles von Hamm...
Indeed, that I believe, but I wonder if they have inflated styles such as
"His Imperial and Royal Highness, the noble Lord Archduke, etc. etc."

When researching Mexico I did come across the following English
translation:

.=2E

edespalais...
LE tried to understand it, enough for being able to understand in this
or that sense

"H.I.R.H. The Serene Prince and Lord (Christian names), Archduke and
Imperial Prince of Austria, Royal Prince of Hungary and Bohemia, Count
of Hapsburg, Prince of Loraine, etc."

edespalais...
In primitive English: a Count never goes ahead of a (ducal) Prince!

Does a Margrave (of Moravia, for example) go before a Duke (of Upper
and Lower Silesia, for example) or a Count (of Tyrol, for example) go
before a Prince (of Trent, for example)? In the primitive language used
by the Gotha, they certainly do.

I'm pretty sure they were also Prince(sse)s of Tuscany.

Charles von Hamm...
It may have not been part of a full title and style of the archdukes and
archduchesses though.
