Is there a reason why I can't find a list of Wattaside sultans?
I found lists of just about every other dynasty of Morocco but this one.
Why? Was this a 'Dark Age' of Morocco?

Yahya I bin Zayyan al-Wattasi, Abu Zakariyya 1428/1448, at first
regent for the Marinid and then as de facto ruler
Ali bin Yusuf 1448/1458 de facto ruler
Yahya II bin Yahya 145/1459 de facto ruler
1459/1465 (Direct rule of the Marinid 'Abd al-Haqq II)
1465/1471 (Rule of the Idrisid Shorfa in Fez)
Muhammed bin Yahya (Abu Abdallah al-Shaykh) 1472/1504
Muhammed II bin Muhammed (Abu Abdullah al-Buttuqali) 1504/1526
Ali bin Muhammed (Abu'l-Hasan) 1526 and again in 1554
Ahmad bin Muhammed 1526/1545 and again 1547/1549
Muhammed III bin Ahmad (al-Qasri Nasir al-Din) 1545/1547
Sa'did Sharifs had control 1549/1554 and 1554 onwards.
The Banu Wattas was a collateral branch of the Banu Marin, settled in
north-eastern Morocco and the Rif as virtually autonomous governors
for the Marinid rulers. Some of the last Wattasids left for the
Iberian peninsula and became converts to Christianity.

That was Abu Zayd Abdurrahman, converted to Christianity in 1236,
taking the name of Vicente Fernandez, his daughter Alda, married
Blasco Perez de Arenos +1273/4 and there are many descendants.
IIRC the de Granada family are descended from the family of the last
ruler of Granada.
Cheers,
Henry
