Instead of Bohemia and Hungary one would rather say the court of Vienna
(much depending of Bohemians of German tongue) and of Hungary (strong
influence of Latin). There is hardly a common tongue. Every soical,
professional, etc group has its own language, that can be used such,
that the other does not understand.

I believe that the language spoken in the Japanese court was completely
different to that spoken by the hoi polloi.
