Luxembourg: Prince Louis to marry Tessy Antony

Ducal throne, but will remain a Prince of Luxembourg with the style of
"Royal Highness". The family will have the surname de Nassau. The
couple became parents to a son, Gabriel, on 12 March 2006.

Yes, the couple is to marry in the Gilsdorf parish church, the same
church where Gabriel was baptized in April this year (cf. among others
Wort of today).

In the good old time - in Norway still practised in the last century -
one had no family name. Here one was called after one's castle [Burg],
these were Laurenburg, then Sonnenberg, then Nassau. Therefore von
Nassau. This von is of course permitted to be translated, therefore de,
of N. The N are extinct, their heirs: the House of Luxembourg, ex
stirpe de Bourbon de Parme. These have picked up the House name: de
Nassau. (It seems Nassau was never translated into French).
