In your posting you are indirectly quoting this palace!

No, not really. But my link posted in my previous message was irrelevant - I
think Palace of the Hermitage is the same as Jĉgersborg Slot, although I am
not 100% sure.

1998."
Thanks. I obviously haven't paid enough attention to all the palaces etc.
connected to the Danish royal house, as this obviously has escapted my mind.
Ermitageslottet (Palace of the Hermitage/The Hermitage Palace) is not the
edespalais...
same as what was Jĉgersborg Palace (as I thought initially when I was told
what edespalais was asking about), although both were/are situated in the
same area. Oh well, one never stop learning new things...

In connection with the Danish succession question 1852-53 (which resulted in
Prince Christian of Glücksburg becoming heir to the Throne of Denmark, cf.
edespalais...
the Succession to the Crown
on Prince Christian of Glücksburg), I have added 2 documents to my Danish
royal family links page:
Assurance Act of 18 July 1851, by Princess Louise of Glücksburg, in Danish
only
Assurance Letter of 18 July 1851, by Prins Christian of Glücksburg, in
Danish only
The languages in the two documents are not too consistent, but I have
republished it here as printed.
In short, Princess Louise of Glücksburg accepted and assured in the document
of 18 July 1851 that following the renunciations of her mother, her brother
and elder sister she would pass on her rights to the throne of Denmark to
her husband, Prince Christian of Glücksburg. Prince Christian on the same
day issued a letter approving and assuring his wife's acceptance.
