They wouldn't be royal, if they weren't rich. They wouldn't be rich if

weren't royal. The two items of renown, and wealth. Both go together
like hand and glove. There is an understanding that the royals are

Being Royal has nothing to do with noteriety or wealth.

There have been monarchs in the history of UK who weren't, particularly,
wealthy... AND, there are many people who have money to burn who don't
qualify as well-mannered, much less royal.

good for tourism, and not much else. It's understood that Britain has
a significant cultural heritage that provides an economic benefit; that
is used. Otherwise there would be little use to it all. Again it is a

matter of money. Yet there are some who imagine that royalty is more
than a tourist attraction; it has some other higher purpose. I wish to
dispel this notion. Not all heritage is good heritage. Much of
royalty
has it's foundations in the Roman Empire. Caligula, and Nero come
to mind. A system of fees to collect. There is no grace in royalty, I
assure you of that. There is no justice either. A despot by birth, and
nothing more.
