Mark Collins (General)...
I'm not sure when these happened, but Camilla's Arms have been issued

mjcar...
July last year, according to the website you quote as a source.

by the College of Arms.

Interestingly, her arms are surmounted by the coronet that befits the
consort to the heir apparent, and not a (mere) duchess...

sionevar...
That makes sense to me, because she would still be the consort of the heir
apparent even if she wished to be known as Ms. Camilla Shand.

If and when Charles becomes king, she might not be styled as Queen Consort,
but she will be the consort of the monarch.

ScottyFLL...
She is the wife of the Prince of Wales, and therefore de jure Princess
of Wales, even if "she" has "chosen" to be known as the Duchess of
Cornwall.

CJ Buyers...
If one takes the citation at its word, the coronet is that decreed for
the consort of the "heir apparent" by Charles II in 1661. There is no
mention of it belonging to the wife of the "Prince of Wales". As far as
I know, at that date there wasn't one.

Any comments?

Patrick Cracroft-Brennan...
Yes - don't you read the newspapers? This is very old news!

Of course she has the coronet that befits the consort to the heir
apparent - that is her legal status - just as when the present Queen
dies she will become Queen Consort.
