As some of you will know, I have been corresponding in recent weeks
with 'Villa Austria' about the claims of the former Andrew Hunter to be
the Head of the House of Guise-Lorraine, to use of the arms of the
Dukes of Lorraine etc etc.
In September, having reviewed the various websites (including the
original version of the pedigree published by Baronage Press and since
amended by de Guise), I was notified that the official position of the
Head of the House of Lorraine was:
"a person of this name is completely unknown here".
(Some further observations about his activities were also proffered,
which libel laws prevent me from publishing here - although I have
permission to do so.)
Having now reviewed the revised pedigree and further claims advanced on
de Guise's website during the past few days, the Archduke Otto's
official press spokesman has written to me as follows, which may be of
interest to posters:
"This 'prince' is a fake; we know very well people like this."

Obviously a translation, by an unauthorizised person! The original text

On the contrary - obviously a sentence written by someone who is not a
native speaker of English. Most likely a speaker of German or a
related language, as we would expect in this case.

You are talking through your bottom, Sir. "Villa Austria" writes much
better English than you.
